A car crashed a group of people in Munich, Germany, leaving several wounded.
Police on German television said at least 20 people have been injured some of them in critical and serious condition.
It is not yet known whether the driver of the vehicle acted deliberately or was an accident, the BBC writes, broadcasts Express.
Munich Mayor Dieter Reiter told the German newspaper Bild that police officials told him there were children among the injured.
I'm deeply shocked. My thoughts are with the wounded”, he says.
A major operation is under way in the Dachar Strasse area, police say, adding that the driver was detained at the scene and posed no further danger.
It is currently unclear whether this was an attack or an accident.
The Munich Security Conference will begin Friday, with US Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arriving this afternoon.
