The State Prosecutor has made all necessary preparations to realise the protection of the vote for the Kosovo Assembly elections Sunday.
The Prosecutor's Office has announced that about 100 prosecutors and sufficient number of prosecutorial system personnel, who will remain stewards until the election process is completed, in order to prosecute any irregularities that could occur in this year's elections.
“Prosecutors will stay at their offices in cities where basic prosecutors exist, while in those countries where the prosecution has no object, prosecutors will stay at police stations, where in co-operation with Kosovo Police investigators will be in defense of the free vote of citizens”, the report said.
Meanwhile, the national election co-ordinator, the Laura Pula procurement, will oversee all the prosperity of implementing the duties of regional co-ordinators, committed prosecutors and acting prosecutor in the CEC.
The State Prosecutor has called on them to be denounced to the relevant prosecutors, every case they suspect is being misused or manipulated in any way and by anyone.
Police have also announced four key phases of the operational police plan for the elections.
