Consumption free of smoke.
The concept of smoking is known to all. But there are other forms, such as secondhand smoking or passive smoking, where the person does not smoke but stays with those who consume it. While smoking third hand (theriare) implies the harmful substances left on the surface, clothing, furniture, curtains after smoking in a closed environment.
The concept of smoking is known to all. But there are other forms, such as secondhand smoking or passive smoking, where the person does not smoke but stays with those who consume it. While smoking third hand (terciar) implies the harmful substances left on the surface, clothing, furniture, curtains after smoking in a closed environment
What's the problem?
Unlike visible smoke, harmful substances that remain on the surface after smoking are not seen. This makes it even more dangerous because we cannot avoid it.
A study has revealed the high presence of these harmful substances in the home of a person who had quit smoking for nine years.
San Diego University and Professor George Matt, coauthor in this study, states that the presence of tobacco smoke proves that there are dangerous remains of tobacco in the room, even though there can be no such unpleasant smell in the room. The main researcher in this project, Dr Hugo Destelleys, confirms that daily doses of exposure to these third-hand wastes can be very high because in addition to smoke, substances can be absorbed by the skin. Continued contact with the skin and mouth increases the possibilities for chronic exposure to these remains. This is often evident even in the dust or color received from the walls of the room.
How can we clear an environment of dangerous waste?
To clean up a house, restaurant, work space, or other space, from the presence of the tercir smoke, Dr. Rachel Records points out that it is better to remove furniture, decorations, curtains, carpets, and all other furniture that can easily join smoke. This drastic mass is proposed because ventilation, washing, and cleaning the room does not remove these substances. After these radical changes, smoking should not be allowed in the room so that smoke does not touch these surfaces again. For many smokers, this can be very difficult, especially if a person has a morning routine in which he wants to drink coffee and cigarettes in the domestic environments. Given that smokers smoke mainly because of nicotine, many can switch to less harmful alternatives such as smokeless devices that heat up tobacco. Such equipment does not produce smoke but merely aerosol. In this way the smoking smoke released from burning is completely eliminated. Also, the presence of harmful and potentially harmful substances is reduced to 95% because these products release aerosol instead of tobacco smoke. The aerosol does not remain in clothing, furniture, walls, and disappears very quickly./Periscopi/
