Talks between Trump and Zelensky are expected to include discussions on Ukraine's air protections and capacities for long-range action attacks, including the possibility that the US will grant Ukraine Tomahawk rockets.
Trump announced on October 16th that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation and agreed to meet in Budapest.
Trump wrote on social networks that there will be a high-level meeting of councilors next week, before he and Putin meet up with “to see if we can finish this deprivedial war between Russia and Ukraine”.
The US delegation will be led by State Secretary Marco Rubio, he said. The meeting location of the advisers has not yet been defined.
