Thaci called on former opposition parties to join the formation of new institutions.
Of course it is time for the Kurti 3 government to be elected and we, like LVV, expect to reflect on the opposition deputies to get together and create our institutions even though there has been a delay in this. Of course there will be numbers and we will have the formation of Kurti 3” government, Thaci told Rtv21.
LVV chairman Albin Kurti said yesterday they would make efforts until Sunday to secure the necessary numbers for forming the new government. According to him, communications with political representatives are continuing, but assessing it is not easy to create the necessary majority.
Meanwhile, parties of the former opposition P The DK, LDK and AAK have confirmed RTV21 that they do not prefer to co-operate with LVV chairman Albin Kurti, for forming the new government on the grounds that Kurti has brought major damage to the country during his rule.
On Sunday of this week, LVV chairman Albin Kurti, must stand before the Parliament's deputies to testify whether he has a majority or not for the formation of the new government. If Kurti fails to secure the necessary votes, according to the Constitution, President Osmani could mandate another candidate who testifies to the majority in the Assembly.
