The candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) for the mayor of Prizren, Driton Selmanaj, has reacted after completing the vote counting process, thanking citizens for their support and naming the election race as the difficult and uneven “ ”.
In a Facebook post, Selmanaj stressed that the confrontation in Prizren was not only with political opponents, but also with “two powers national and local”.
The fact that 8,255 voters chose to trust us should serve as an indication that there is a desire for another vision for the future in Prizren,” wrote Selmanaj.
He has expressed pride in the European and democratic spirit the LDK conveyed during the campaign.
This is not the end of our journey, but the beginning. We will not give up because Prizren deserves more development, transparency and well-being for all,” has ended Selmanaj./Periscopi/
