Views published when the physical impact between deputy Zemaj and citizen begins

The newspaper Blic has published images of the moment when the physical clash between MP Armendi Zemaj and citizen in Pristina Square begins.

And, on the other hand, LDK deputy Armend Zemaj has reacted through a post on the social Facebook network, saying that while he was conducting an interview, he was literally provoked with unacceptable words.

“Today, during a public interview, an unpleasant situation occurred that I feel genuine regret. A citizen, I don't know if it was random or intended, that's what the police would prove to me, he insulted me and provoked me in a very irrevocably, in front of the media and the journalist we were in interview, he wrote.

Zemaj has said that he would have to succumb to provocation and apologise for the incident that occurred.

I have full respect for every person, for every thought and every criticism, no matter how harsh that can be, mine is not responding with emotion. So it has to serve as a lesson to be more patient and consistent in every situation. Thank you all for understanding”, he wrote.

The heart demands public forgiveness for the physical incident with a citizen: Violence is not the right answer.

And journalist Astrit Gashi, who was carrying out the interview with Zemajn, has stressed that Kosovo Police have reported the incident and that it has taken all images shot by the cameras.

Gashi has added that, not to prevent investigations, he will not provide additional details about the event, while voicing regret for the incident and stressing willingness to co-operate with the law bodies until the full dawn of the case.
