Videos that ridicule former President Sarkozy, three prisoners get into a special regime.

Three prisoners at La Sante Prison were placed in special custody following images showing mockery and threats against former French President Nicolas Sarcozy, shortly after he arrived in Paris prison to serve the penalty for misuse of funds from Libya. In one of the videos watched by Euronews, the person who was shooting laughed at provocations against the former French leader, including “Oh Sarco, wake up” and “killed Gaddafi”.
On another clip, a prisoner says Sarkozy “has just arrived... will have a hard time”.
“We know everything, we will avenge Gaddafi”, the person said.
Sarkozy, who came to La Sante on Tuesday to serve his five-year sentence for plotting to finance his 2007 election campaign, using funds from fallen Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddhafi, has been assigned 24 hours a day to police protection.
Gaddafi was killed by Libyan militants in 2011, following the outbreak of a civil war and NATO intervention.
However, a conspiracy theory has blamed Sarkozy for Gaddafi's death as part of a coverage of corruption.
According to a statement made by the Paris prosecutor's office Wednesday, a check was conducted at the premises and two mobile phones were seized.
Film images “show that there is a danger, of course, to stop, President Nicolas Sarcozy, and that we should pay particular attention to his detention conditions”, French Justice Minister Gérad Darman said Wednesday evening for CNews channel.
The three prisoners questioned about the incidents will be submitted to the tribunal, according to Darman.
He added that they will either stay in the disciplinary environments or be transferred to another prison.
“We will not take any risks,” stressed Darman.
Truth Will Triumph
Sarkozy has rejected both the sentence and the judge's decision to keep him in prison pending appeal.
His lawyers said Tuesday they have filed an immediate request for his release.
In a challenging show and while going to prison, Sarcozy issued a statement to the social media saying that “an innocent man” was being imprisoned.
“will continue to denounce this judicial scandal”, he wrote. “The truth will triumph”.
Sarcozy told the newspaper Le Figaro that he would bring three books to prison -- the maximum allowed, including two volumes of the Monte Christos” work in which the hero flees from an island prison before seeking revenge. He also chose a biography of Jesus Christ.
I'm not afraid of jail. I'll keep my head up, including in front of La Santé's doors,” he told the newspaper La Tribune Dimanche last week. I'll fight you to the end. ”
Sarcozy has repeatedly said he is the victim of “a plot” organised by people linked to the Libyan government and denounced the 25 September decision as a “candal”. /Periscope/
