Three people were killed and no American forces were hurt in Wednesday's attack, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said. This attack comes a day after the US hit another ship in the Pacific, killing two people, reports the BBC.
Both ships are believed to be transporting drugs along known trafficking routes to international waters, Hegseth added.
The attacks are eight and nine against vessels suspected of drugs since September 2nd but the first in the Pacific Ocean waters. Most of the US attacks have been on the Caribbean Sea. /Periscope/
