The American president said he's doing well with his North Korean counterpart when he was asked by reporters aboard Air Force One.
It becomes known that in 2019 Trump became the first incumbent US president to cross the border with North Korea during his first term in office.
The duo has not met since then, and the White House said nothing has been planned for the five-day Trump trip to Asia, where he will meet with the leaders of Malaysia, Japan and South Korea, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope.
Kim said last month that he still saves “good personal personal memory” with Trump and that there is no “no reason to re-launch talks with the US if she “bukes” what he called an illusion “ <xx7> in the wish that North Korea drop its nuclear weapons.
Since then, Kim has accelerated the expansion of an arsenal of nuclear-powered missiles and strengthened its position by line up with Russia over its war in Ukraine and by strengthening relations with China.
While some experts predict that a meeting between Kim and Trump is not possible, others predict that the two will eventually sit down for talks in the coming months. /Pericop/
