According to the Court's planning, in line for today's session was the hearing of witness Haliti, for whom the defense of accused Kostic requires postponement of the hearing with the argument that for the statement of witness Haliti you need time to consider this statement.

The panel, headed by Judge Lutfi Shala, made a decision with which I appreciate that the trial cannot be continued, in order for protection to be given time for reading the declaration, while witness Haliti will be invited back to the next hearing for testimony.

According to the indictment filed on May 16th 2024, accused Zoran Kostic during wartime in Kosovo, as a member of the Serbian police forces, in co-ordination with other members of the Albanian police, army and paramilitary, dressed in uniform of police and armed, consciously and deliberately, acting on the plan and orders of his superiors, has participated directly in the attack against the civilian population of Albanian nationalism, namely, the Ujcan family during a well-organised action, as Serb forces were deployed in the home of the United States, which Serb police and army have exploited as critically in the day of the Serb civilian army.

According to the indictment, among other members of the Serbian army and paramilitaries, there was the accused Kostic, who has participated in robbing Albanian residents' homes, then burned down houses and killed unarmed civilians in the village of Reznik, such as: I. U, M.U., B.U., F.U., S.U., F.U., and on the critical day, T.U. and H.U., and in order to eliminate evidence and implement the plan, they set fire to houses and burn the bodies of the U.N. family (this event has seen witness B.U.).

In addition, the indictment reportedly states that on May 22, 1999, accused Kostic in co-ordination with other unidentified persons had ordered the expulsion of the Albanian population from their homes, forcing them to continue toward the city cemetery and separating men from women and children, where there were members of the Dalku-MD, A.D., F.D., E.D., S.D., V.D., V., V. D, V.D., L. IL and three people named Haliti.

On the way to the town's cemetery, Serbian police officer M.C. tells accused Kostiq “that you know how to do with these”, and that's where they start beating civilians with solid metal tubes, hard wooden sticks, rifles, and others, then ordered them to enter the Rassan store, where there were three other civilians H. H, E.H. and N.H., then the same have again ordered them out of the bar and out in front of the S.P. House, where there were several paramilitaries with combined military uniforms that had short and long arms.

It says that the accused Kostic dressed in Serbian police uniform had asked another Serbian paramilitary “if you want this group” where there were about 12 people, but one of the paramilitaries had told him that everything was over here and went elsewhere, so they continued on other ways to go to the city cemetery and to the house of Dr. Ramadan John.

Aktakza says that once there came, Kostic had ordered civilians to rely on the wall with their hands high, and a moment police officer Costiq was drawn to the U.S. victim and had left them in his right pocket of jacket four-five rounds of guns, and soon orders them to pull out the things they had with him, while in that moment, the S.D. was pulled out of the pocket, since the case Kostic says to “he was carrying bullets to kill police” and then the city calls a moneyman who was unarmed, and long-armed men, and long-armed, as short as he told them, the V.E.N.N.E.N.N.E.N.E.E.N.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.W.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.A.

All in accordance with the indictment, it is said that on May 24, 1999, the injured -- Witness V.L., after being separated from the family of the Serbian paramilitary forces, had been arrested and sent to the police station in Vushtrri, to be questioned. There the accused Kostic has hit the V.L. with a strong two-way tool behind his head, arguing that “is a terrorist of KLA”, which out of these trade-offs is allivanose.

In this regard, co-ordination of RSF indictee Kostic is charged with committing the criminal act “war crimes against the civilian population” by Article 142 concerning Article 22 of RSF, seen in Kosovo Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code, “War crimes in serious violation of Article 3 of the GenevaConventions<3> from Article 146, par.1 and 2,1 subgraphy, 2.2 and 2,2KR and 2.3KR, with KPR related to 31 KPR

According to the second device, accused Dragan Milovic during the time of the war in Kosovo, as a member of the Serb police forces, in the war period in Kosovo, along with others, they have sent about 20 thousand civilian residents of Vushtrrid to the city cemetery and there the accused have tortured, beaten and tortured civilians, who were gathered at the city cemetery, where K.S.A., who now knew the accused Milovic and begged him to save, but says the same “says the same term was at the location of the caquembo> with the cax.

Then, it is said that the accused Milovic, along with several armed Serb police officers, starts to divide the Albanian civilian population, as well as force them to lay their hands tied to their heads and kneel on their heads to the ground, continually hitting some with iron canes, and some with wooden sticks and weapons cones.

The Aztec says that the crowd included A.A., K. S.H.K., F. B, M.M., S. R, T.F. and others, where K. The US and A.A. had now seen accused Milovovic wearing Serbian police uniforms and police equipment, constantly hitting these civilians with metal sticks and also beating civilians with boxing and kicking, where the same had managed to identify accused Milovic.

The indictment says that witness A.A., as it was in line in the group of gathered persons, had heard a Serbian police officer now addressing accused Dragan “stopped what you were doing so that these girls (the cow) are not”, then they were forced into trucks and sent to the Smreconica prison, where they were tortured in the most brutal ways, even by other perpetrators, and that after several days their stay in prison were infiltrated in the Republic of Albania.

With this, it is alleged that in co-ordination it committed the criminal work “war crimes against the civilian population” -- pre-represented and punishable according to Article 142 and 22 of the RSFJ Criminal Code -- currently penalised with articles 31 and 153 of KPRC -- in opposition to the combined Article 3 and 4 Geneva Conventions, August 12, 1949, article 4 and 5 (1) Protocol of June 2, 1977, the Nobel Convention of 1949, all international regulations at the time of armed conflict in Kosovo. /Betimy for Justice
