Syria recognises Kosovo's independence

The Syrian state officially recognises Kosovo as a state. So has Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani announced after meeting with Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud and President Al Shara, reports Periscope.

” We reached the agreement through which the Arab Republic of Syria recognises the Republic of Kosovo”, Osmani has written among other things.

Syria has become the 120th state to have recognised Kosovo as a state.

With the support of his Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud, today we reached the deal through which the Arab Republic of Syria recognises the Republic of Kosovo. I thank President Al Shara for the Kosovo recognition decision, as well as his support for our people.

The people of Kosovo and Syria have suffered and sacrificed much to gain freedom. Therefore, this mutual recognition today is not only of state sovereignty but also recognition of the sacrifice of many generations to live free.

I thank the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia for making this historic act possible between our two countries. )

Kosovo is now recognised by 120 states. Our Republic is moving forward and there is nothing that can stop it!
