Democratic Party of Kosovo Secretary General Vlora Citaku has said the PDK is the winning party of these local elections.
Citaku, after the closure of the deployments across Kosovo, has thanked all citizens for their faith.
I have the satisfaction of confirming that the Democratic Party of Kosovo is the winner of these elections. The PDK has won in mostly municipalities without a run-off and is mostly a municipality in the runoff. And so, The PDK has received the largest number of party votes, confirming it as political forces with mostly asmblastists in the country's municipal assemblies”, she has said.
Citaku commenting on the anticipated results of the polar ex, with all due respect, has said the truth is in the ballot boxes.
“Concretically, in terms of capital, Pristina, our candidate for chairman, Ismaili Bridge, we are convinced he is in a run-off. This confirms our field teams and our internal measurements. This will be confirmed within hours, after the outcome of the vote count for mayors. In this case, we call on our commissioners and observers to keep every vote, to be careful and immediately report any eventual irregularities. Citizens' votes are the most sacred faith to be defended by the end”, Citaku stressed.
She said citizens chose the best model of local governance, that of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, for what it expressed gratitude.
The overall “ -- today, citizens -- won free and fair elections, won Kosovo's mature democracy. But above all, the cities and municipalities that believed in work, responsibility, and vision won. Citizens who chose the best model of local governance won the Democratic Party of Kosovo. We are deeply grateful for every vote given today, for every citizen who exercised his democratic right, who believed in our team, our candidates, and our vision of development and dignity. Now, we continue with dedication and confidence towards reconfirming victories in every municipality where we are in the runoff. The energy and support we saw today are clear guarantees that citizens want stability, jobs and results. Thank you for every activist, observer and citizen who made this big day for our democracy. The PDK is and will remain the force of development, responsibility and the future. Because Kosovo deserves better!”, Citaku said. /Periscopi/
