According to local media, the event occurred on Tuesday, about 2: 00 p.m. in the parking lot near the intersection of Airport Road and Queen Street East. Peel Regional Police confirmed that the victim was found dead at the scene.
Savannah's mother, Karen Tower, confessed to her daughter's final moments of deep emotion. She indicated that Savannah had gone to meet her former partner, 38-year-old Anthony Deschepper, who had sought to spend several hours with their 17-month-old daughter.
I just can't believe she's gone. She was so beautiful, very sensitive and smart. We loved her so much,” Mother said through tears.
Karen added that Savannah was a mother of four and had shared the streets with Deschepper a few months ago.
“told me about a month ago: If I stay with him, he'll kill me, ” your mother told me.
According to her testimony, the event began after a debate over a bag of diapers.
I heard he said: I need my diaper bag, and she said, I'll take it. He said: You forgot the damn diaper bag and then I heard three shots,” Karen came along.
After the event, authorities faced the author, who was shot dead by police during an attempted arrest. It turns out that Deschepper had criminal precedents and was on the run for gun attacks in 2023.
Mother said Savannah was afraid of the former partner, but believed he no longer carried a gun.
I said: Promise me you don't have a gun. She told me: No, Mom, no guns. I know it was wrong,” said Karen.

Also, the mother indicated that the former partner had been constantly bothering him on the phone, so that Savannah had changed his number several times, but he kept bothering him.
“He called hundreds of times a day. Sometimes she only answered to tell me leave me alone,” It ended.
Canadian police are continuing investigations into this serious event, while the Albanian community in Canada has expressed their condolences for the tragic loss of Savannah Tower./Periscopi/
