Special Unit Special Officer Arrested in Pristina Suspected of Family Violence

Kosovo Police Inspectorate has arrested a special unit police official in Pristina on suspicion that the same has committed the same criminal act “domestic violence”.

The incident reportedly occurred on October 24th 2025 in Pristina, while special police have already been detained for 48 hours and suspended.

After some initial investigative actions have been consulted by the competent prosecutor and the prosecutor's decision police official has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours.

In terms of the case, as part of administrative and investigative procedures, the police official (received under the Kosovo Special Police Units Department) has been suspended by Kosovo Police at IPK recommendation.”/Periscopi/
