Special Prosecutor's Chief Prosecutor, Blerim Isufaj, along with prosecutors from the Department for Investigation of Corruption and Financial Crime, Valdet Gashi, Fatos Ajvazi and Milot Krasniqi, have hosted the Italian Carabinieri's top representatives from the Command Against Selling Money in Rome, Zoyanlua Vitagliano and Pierlugi Ferri.
According to the announcement, it has become known that the meeting was held under the <x0 program P ERICLES”
“during the appointment, which was developed under the program EP RICLES) , discussed bilateral commitment to continue co-operation between the two countries, with the aim of preventing and combating transnational criminality, in particular criminal acts related to the counterfeiting of money in Euro currency”, the report said.
On the other hand, Chief Prosecutor Blerim Isufaj reportedly expressed gratitude for the continued assistance the Italian authorities and the Carabiniers in particular have offered to the Special Prosecutor.
On the other hand, Gianluca Vitagliano and Pierluigi Ferri reaffirmed the importance of co-operation and commitment to supporting the Special Prosecutor in the fight against financial crime and corruption. /Periscopi/
