In this case, in connection with the September 24, 2023 terrorist attack in the village of Banjska in Zvecan, are being charged: Vladimir Toliq, Dusan Maksimovic and Blagoje Spasojevicq, for whom procedures have been isolated from other indictees, who so far are unattainable to justice.
Initially, special prosecutor Naim Abazi demanded that the hearing be provisionally closed to the public, because an anonymous witness A2 will be heard, reports “Justice Vow “.
Prosecutor Ahaz demanded that the session be closed until the witness who enjoys the status of an anonymous witness can testify.
We ask the Court to approve the prosecution's request and order this session to be held by closed doors so that legal provisions for witness protection” are respected, Abazi said.
Blagoje Spasojevicqi's defender, lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic, said he agrees with the prosecutor's proposal if he hears concrete reasons why he would negatively influence the witness and in the process, the open hearing of the anonymous witness A2.
“We haven't heard reasons from the prosecutor and asked you not to approve this proposal”, Pantovic said.
Later, the chairman of the court, Arben Hoti, took the decision with which he approved the prosecutor's proposal that the hearing be closed to the public during witness hearing A2, with the aim of protecting witnesses.
