UN Security Council Meeting Begins, Kosovo in Epistre

Since the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 1244 on June 10, 1999, this body has discussed Kosovo four times a year until 2018. In 2019 three UN Security Council hearings for Kosovo were held, while two sessions per year were held by 2020.
Deputy Special Representative and Co-ordination Official of the UN Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), Milbert Dongjoon Shin, has started reporting on the latest UN Secretary General's report on UNMIK, which was distributed to Council members on October 10th and covers developments from March 16th to September 15th.
Shin has told of major political and security developments in Kosovo during the period covered by the Secretary General's report.
