A “Blue Islands” was forced to do emergency landing after passengers heard noise “crash” coming from one of the engines. The event occurred on SI-5581 flight from Dublin to Jersey Island. Just a few minutes after lift, at an altitude of 4,000 feet [400 m], the crew reported defects on the right engine, which was immediately shut down. The plane stayed in the air for 20 minutes and then returned to Dublin Airport, where it sat smoothly about 30 minutes after leaving.
One passenger said the flight had been about an hour late before departure, while according to portal “Aero Inside”, the damaged engine gave unusual sounds before stopping.
Meanwhile, another air incident has caused concern in Britain. A Ryanair flight, travelling from Pissa to Glasgout on October 3rd, was forced to land urgently in Manchester, after remaining with only 220kg of fuel, enough for only 5-6 minutes of flying.
After three failed attempts to land at the airports in Prestwick and Edinburgh, the pilot issued an emergency signal “7700”. A passenger described the experience as “scana from a disaster movie”, while people on board prayed among the powerful winds of Amy Storm, which hit Britain at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour [160 km/].
