Russia, Ukraine exchange troops of fallen soldiers

In line with the agreements reached in Istanbul, Russia and Ukraine have conducted exchanges for the mortoary remains of fallen soldiers, officials from both states announced today. The Russian side was declared by State Dum MP Shamsail Saraliev, that “held a 31- 000 swap. 31 bodies of those killed returned to Russia”. Meanwhile, Ukraine's Co-ordination Staff for War Prison Treatment announced that Russia has returned 10,000 Ukrainian troops, who, according to the Russian side, belong to Ukrainian soldiers.
Following the surrender, investigators and legal experts from the Ukraine Interior Ministry will conduct examinations and identification procedures for repatriated troops, Reuters reports.
Staff also thanked the International Committee of the Red Cross for its help and underlined the importance of transport and waste delivery to forensic and investigative authorities.
