The disappointing results in these elections are precisely the reason for this resignation, the indexonline reports, broadcasts Periscope.
In a proposal for IndexOnline, Norboro claimed the claims are true, saying he received the message of the electorate.
I did the moral act. I'm attracted to the Alternative, both from the political scene. I've got the message from the electorate that don't need me, they need my political commitment. As a result, this has been the withdrawal from the Alternatives and from the political scene in Kosovo” said Norboro.
He said the election results are not satisfactory for him, while praising that the current leadership of the municipality, at the helm with Gazmend Muharzier, must be changed.
I have given my assessment since 2013, when this current chairman has arrived, that Peja's future is about his retirement and his departure from politics”, he added.
Asked what would be the right choice for the Pejan citizens in the run-off race, Nrbako says: “I had backed everyone in the runoff. Granted, the reason is to remove this 12-year-old bad government. He supported the LVV candidate, the same as I would have supported any other candidate who would have been in the runoff. ”
Out of the preliminary results of the 12 October local elections, Nrbako received 277 votes, more than 0.77% of the general vote in Pec.
