In an interview for DW Shqip, he said that, institutionally speaking, they have inevitable differences in perspective.
“... me and Albin have a very friendly personal relationship, but we have inevitable differences in perspectives, and we divide these differences open and direct. In all aspects of co-operation with Kosovo, in interstate co-operation, we have made a lot of progress, and we are working jointly for a major work such as the Durres-Pristina Railway, Rama said.
He also spoke of accusations coming from people in Kosovo about his close reports with Serbia.
“I understand all that is placed on me as a label, because they stem from reason and internal push that are related to very fresh and very rude memories of an extremely dramatic and tragic time of the people of Kosovo, so I don't take them for granted. Moreover, then that I'm used to this and I have no concerns with any kind of label, because my report is with the truth and with people who believe me, it's not with the need for everyone to agree or like what I do, said the Albanian prime minister.
On the issue between Kosovo and Serbia, he said the official Pristina should carry out all obligations stemming from dialogue between the two countries, and then the ball to go to the other side's door.
On the other hand, I don't take off any expectations I've said, that I don't regret what I've done, because I've done everything from national and Albanian interests. According to me, Kosovo should forget all of Serbia, in the sense that it must unitally meet all the requirements of dialogue and then leave the ball at Serbia's door, telling Europe, all the countries of Europe and those countries that still recognise us, we fulfilled them, we signed them, now go get Serbia's firm. But, it has to be completely removed from Serbia and should not live with the idea of Serbia”, Rama said. /Periscopi/
