Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, has today declared it wrong that Europe is focusing more and more on weapons, without having its own peace plan.

Speaking from Riyadh, who is taking part in the 9th edition of the Initiative Investment Investment, Rama said the European continent is risking losing its balance between security and diplomacy.

There's something essentially wrong with the fact that every day we hear calls for rearming, to think and talk only about more weapons. In the meantime, there is no peace plan you can see and reflect on it”Rama said.

The head of the Albanian government criticised the fact that Europe, according to him, has long followed the US <x0-autopilot” and is now facing the lack of a clear vision of peace.

A Europe without a peace plan, which is stuck in a position where you think only about weapons, not peace talks, is disturbinge”, Rama stressed.

He added that he is concerned about normalising the word “substomore” in the international political discourse.

Just a few years ago, no one used the term "brothral." Today, nuclear threats have become part of everyday vocabulary and this is crazy.”, Rama added.

In the end, the Albanian prime minister said that European reflection is necessary not to lose the right direction. “Europe must learn from what is happening in other parts of the world and rethink its position, instead of taking moral legitimacy as good.”, he said.
