At the request of State Attorney Ersan Qavolli, who secured it “Battle for Justice” The suspect is in a police ban since the afternoon of October 17th 2025, with the suspicion that he committed criminal acts “heavy attempted murder” and “possession, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
The “Justice Vow” has published the moment when Hoxhaj had shot at the two injured, which appears to have had two Kalashnikovs.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect had been party to a trial that had ended a few minutes earlier with the release of the other side. Immediately after declaring the indictment, Hoxhaj allegedly appeared in the parking lot behind the tribunal, where he waited for the victims and shot at them with two AK-47-type automatic weapons, reports the “Justice Trust”.
Two people were severely injured and originally sent to Pec General Hospital, where they received urgent treatment. One of them has been transferred to KKUK in Pristina for further treatment due to serious chest injuries.
At the scene, regional investigation units have seized two long AK-47 weapons, two pistols, 149 rounds and 16 shellings, while other material evidence is expected to be sent for ballistic expertise.
In the detention request, the prosecution has stressed that there is real danger of escape, the impact on witnesses and the repetition of criminal acts, as Hoxhaj figures in 43 cases recorded previously, of which 25 times as suspects and 18 times as injured or party.
Prosecutor Qavoli has argued that alternative measures such as showing up to the police or stopping the house would not be enough to ensure the suspect's presence and normal development of criminal procedure.
The hearing for review of the prosecution's request is expected to be held during today's pre-procedure Procedure Court in Pec, as investigations continue in co-ordination with Kosovo Police relevant units. /Periscope/
