He said he had never seen such efficiency as in his case, where eight decisions were made during the dismissal process within eight hours by the Municipal Council, the prime minister and the president.
I've seen it from prison TV. I haven't met. I haven't seen an issue of eight administrative decisions within eight hours of work, on the 24th, that starts with the municipal council's decision and ends with the president's decree. In eight hours, eight decisions. The speed of the decision was deeply impressive.
That's my right to be here. Thank you for giving me this right. I waited nine months for this right. They locked me in a cell with serial killers. I've experienced a long period of rights violations. That's a downside. This is a contempt that the people give to the Republic to guide in its name. I am here as mayor of Tirana with the right to grant me 165 thousand citizens. I have committed no offense. I'm here to seek the protection of democracy that is being tested today. We swore to protect democracy. This is not my mandate, but a covenant contract and I will do whatever the law allows me to protect this contract. No one can interrupt the mandate of a chosen one. With respect, I ask what serious violation did I commit?
