Four and a half years in prison for Albanian citizen, he committed several domestic burglaries in Gjakova

The Constitutional Court in Gjakova has declared a condemnation of Albanian citizens, R.M., of serious theft. He has been sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison and 2 thousand euros in fines.

The defendant is accused of committing a series of criminal acts of the nature of theft, mainly in the homes of persons living abroad, during the period July 6th15th, 2025. Initially, he has attempted to commit a common attempted theft in the village of Orize, then he has carried out several actions of heavy theft by breaking into nine (9) different houses with the intention of illegally extracting property benefits in the villages of Ramoc, Dallashja, Sheremet, Meas, Orek Hile, but without taking anything, thus consuming the criminal work of heavy theft in continuation, remaining in the attempt, according to the relevant provisions of the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo Penal Code. Finally, in 15,07,2025, in the village of Orek Hile, one of the cases, the defendant has managed to get money and an hour's hand from another house, thus performing the criminal offense of the heavy theft.
