The principal of a school in Klokot is banned for 48 hours, allegedly forced the teacher to vote for the Serbian “List”

The Founding Prosecutor in Gjilan, the Department for Crime, has for 48 hours detained the defendant D.K., who has allegedly pressured a teacher on how to vote in municipal elections in the Klokot municipality.

According to the prosecution, there is doubt that the defendant, in the quality of a school principal, during the months of September and October 2025, has threatened the teacher, forcing him to vote for the political subject “Serbian List”, with warnings of disciplinary consequences, dismissal and other socioeconomic damage in the opposite case.

The prosecution has requested the appointment of the detention measure against the suspects, who are charged with criminal acts “Consumption of the free definition of voters”, according to Article 210 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code.

According to the request, there is suspicion that the defendant D.K. was convicted. in the quality of the principal at a school, during the last two months of September 2025, has threatened to hurt - the teacher in that school, how to vote and have forced to vote for the Serbian List subject, or otherwise there will be consequences like disciplinary procedures, job evasion, and other socio-economic consequences, regarding municipal elections in the Klocott municipality.
