In an interview for DW, which appears to have been carried out before the appointment of the Parliament's extraordinary session, Osman has shown how he will act if Albin Kurti fails to form the government on Sunday.

The country's first has suggested how president will invite all political parties to see if one of the political subjects could create the parliamentary majority.

The “is not known if there will be assembly hearings on Sunday, because the assembly session is only invited if the 61 votes needed by the mandated prime minister, Mr. Kurti. Whether it will happen or not, it is entirely in the hands of political parties and at the moment I cannot predict, even though Sunday is very close, but as you know the political flows in Kosovo are sometimes unpredictable. So within hours there could be an agreement”, Osman said.

She has suggested that it is still early to talk about early elections.

“If there is agreement, there may be sessions and there may be governments. If there is no agreement, then as president of the country I'll invite all political parties to see if there's a chance that someone could create a majority, because I think it's too early to talk about extraordinary elections, but that's an option if there's not a majority”, Osmani said.

The Kosovo Assembly yesterday has announced that the extraordinary session for formations of the new government will be held Sunday, starting at 10:00.

At the invitation that Chief Prime Minister Dimal Basha has sent to MPs is indicated that this session has only one point of the agenda: Government Selection of the Republic of Kosovo

Although the session has been invited, there is still no confirmation from the Vetevendosje Movement if it has secured the votes needed for forming the new government.

In fact, senior VV officials have acknowledged that they still do not have the 61 votes needed for government Kurti 3.

VV MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila has acknowledged that for now Albin Kurti does not have enough votes for prime minister.

On show “Info Nata” in Tv1, it has shown how many votes the VV currently has.

It has shown that Kurt needs another 4-5 MPs to form the new government.

The expectations are to have a government from current Prime Minister Kurti's mandate, which is expected to get at least 61 votes. At this point, however, even as we are still talking, we have no official confirmation of possible coalitions considering that the number of deputies in our parliamentary group is 48, 8 others are from the non-US community, and one is from the vice-president Rassic, who still turns out to be close to 4-5 deputies missing from having the minimum majority to have”, Kusari-Lila has declared.

For the formation of the new government, Vetevendosje Movement needs at least five votes. As a winning party in the February 9th elections, Albin Kurti's VV has 48 deputies. The VV has support from seven non-Serb communities' deputies, as well as Serbian MP Nenad Rashiqi.

So far, all Albanian parties in the country have suggested they do not have a vote for the government “Kurti 3”.
