Police Suspected Arson Between Candidates in Vushtrri

Police spokesman for the Pristina region Enis Plana has confirmed the case for Periscope.

According to initial information, the case is linked to a row allegedly included by the Vetevendosje Movement candidate for mayor of Vushtrri, Sylejman Meholli, and Democratic Party of Kosovo candidate Ferit Idrizi.

“About 5:30 today, information has been accepted about a knockout on George Bush Street in Pristina. Once he gets the information, the police have arrived at the scene. Currently, work is continuing to clarify the circumstances and motives that characterize the event,” has declared Police spokesman Enis Plana for Periscope.

Police have launched investigations into full clarification of the case and identifying the eventual responsibilities, while no arrested persons have been reported so far.
