Police find over 200kg of drugs on Pristina exit, arrest one person

The Special Prosecutor has announced that, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, they have carried out an operation that has found over 200kg of drugs at Pristina's exit, reports Periscope.
According to the report, the suspect with the S.J. initials was arrested during the operation, under suspicion of committing criminal work “Blerja, ownership, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotrope or analogue”.

Pristina, October 29, 2025 At the order of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, S.J. has been arrested under suspicion of committing criminal work “Bleria, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotrope or analogue”.
Suspect S.J. has been detained in the Pristina region, and an estimated 200kg of narcotics substance has been found in the truck he was running.
Investigators from the Directorate for Investigation of Narcotics along with the Special Prosecutor are taking the necessary investigative actions in line with the Criminal Procedure Code and the laws in force.
S.J., under Special Prosecutor's decision has been detained for 48 hours.
The Special Prosecutor and Kosovo Police reiterate their continued commitment to fighting this phenomenon, through prosecution of all possible perpetrators of criminal acts.
