Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani was hosted at an official meeting by Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed Salaman.
Osmani, while stressing the importance of deepening economic co-operation, also proposed facilitating free movement for Kosovo through the possibility of applying for electronic visas.
“During the meeting, President Osmani expressed deep gratitude for the friendship and firm support the Saudi Arab Kingdom has given to the people and the state of Kosovo over the years. Stressing the importance of deepening economic co-operation and opening new chapters in relations between the two countries, President Osmani proposed facilitating free movement for Kosovo citizens through the possibility of application for electronic visas, an initiative that was welcomed with particular interest by His Majesty, the Crown Prince”, said at the Presidency's announcement.
According to the communiqué, President Osmani expressed readiness to expand co-operation with Saudi Arabia in the areas of renewable energy, tourism, agriculture and food security, education, digital innovation and sustainable development.
