But, based on all the statements, no political subject has managed to secure the majority in the Assembly.
President Vjosa Osmani has invited political party leaders to discuss the way ahead, following the failure of the first mandate to form the government.
According to the announcement issued by the President's Office, meeting with party leaders is set to begin at noon.
Osman's invitation to this meeting, four days after failing to form the government, is considered delayed by Vlora Citaku, who is deputy head of the Parliament from the Democratic Party's ranks (PDK).
Nevertheless, she has said that in discussions with the president, the party's position that it must go to early elections will be confirmed.
It is clear that there is no new parliamentary majority, we do not need tact. The country needs institutions, and it is clear that this country is failing to form a new majority, we have to go to the elections and then face the big challenges that Kosovo Republic of Kosovo citizen” has stressed.
Against the elections, neither has Deputy Speaker of the Parliament been declared from the ranks of Vetevendosje (LVV) Movement, Albulen Haxhiu. But she has stressed that the final position will be presented before the president.
We'll give LVV's position tomorrow. What is already known is that the president can announce the elections, but he can also give the mandate to one of the political parties, the position in relation to it will be delivered tomorrow, because tomorrow we will be present at this” meeting, Haxhiu said.
After failing to form the government at the 26 October session, it is at the discretion of the president to offer any party term that testifies to the majority. But since no political camp has secured coalitions, the option remains early elections.
Under the Constitution, elections should be held within 40 days under such circumstances.
