The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, has declared that his party has had no contact with Vetevendosje (LVV) for a possible governing coalition and that the LDK position remains unchanged.
Abdixhiku has stressed that the noise emerging in the opinion of an eventual co-operation between LVV and LDK is unfair.
“I have seen that there is an unfair interest, there is a big noise about the issue of an LDK evental coalition in this phase. I probably understand the noise and why it's being made. But I want to renew the position of the LDK unchanged in any way. This noise comes for a simple reason, it seems there has been a historical lesson in Kosovo that has behind a citizen policy. And there's a policy under the table for the powerman. And this has never been matched. This policy is dead. With the current political generation, the cards are open and there is no policy under the table.
We've had no further contact since the last letter several months ago, ”, Obadiah said in DebatPlus.
This statement comes at a moment when incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti has a short term to present the government's new composition before the Parliament and secure the 61 votes needed for forming the new cabinet government.
