In Macedonia, election silence begins from midnight to October 19th.
Every form of election campaign is banned during this period. Citizens are expected to vote for their local representatives in municipalities and towns. Election silence lasts until the voting process ends. Institutions appeal for respect of rules and a calm democratic process.
On the other hand, the KSHZ has made all preparations for electoral material, meanwhile on Saturday (October 18th) vote on the impossible and the prisoners.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has assured citizens that it will monitor the situation, even warning the use of fears.
“In line with estimates made and plans set on Election Day, police officers will be present near polling sites, as well as key traffic points, with the aim of increasing efficiency and revealing in time possible violations of public order and calm. Citizens' security will be guaranteed by standard technical means, mobile teams and jobs at certain points, and modern technology will be used fearing for air control, with the aim of faster response and taking appropriate measures and activities in the event of incident”, the MPB has communicated.

In addition to the phone, citizens will be able to present violations of their electoral rights personally in all ombudsman offices in: Skopje, Manastir, Kricovo, Kumanovo, Strumica, Tetovo and Stip, in order to help with the implementation and protection of their electoral rights.
