FIFA's window for the October matches was finally closed last night, while new names were discovered that cut off the World Cup ticket, which will be held next year in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
From Europe alone England secured participation in the 2026 World, while 15 countries remain at large from the Old Continent, where a country in the world's largest football race is also being sought by Kosovo and Albania.
48 Nationals will participate in next year's World, which means that there are 20 more countries available.
