Warnings in the English camp, thieves steal team equipment before the world debut

England's national has faced an unpleasant incident before the launch of its campaign at the 2026 World Cup, after some of the team's training equipment has been stolen in Kansas City.
According to reports, vehicles transporting equipment to the “training centre Soap Soccer Village” has been broken, while the English Football Federation (FA) is working to determine exactly what was taken.
Among the items allegedly stolen include football balls and shoes, writes “BBC”, forward “Gazeta Express”.
Coach Thomas Tuchel and his footballers are expected to arrive in Kansas City on Saturday afternoon, while equipment should have been deployed earlier at the team's training base.
Police forces, which are co-operating with the FA, have been on the scene Friday evening to investigate the case.
According to preliminary information, two people have been arrested in connection with this event.
We're investigating a possible theft of equipment from a team vehicle that arrived in Kansas City, where shortages of several items were found. Investigations are still under way, said a Kansas City Police spokesperson.
The incident could affect coach Thomas Tuchel's preparations for England's first World Cup match against Croatia, which takes place Wednesday.
English footballers are expected to hold their first full training session Sunday.
