Iron Murati, the acting minister of finance, said that today “or we will have Government Kurti 3 or the country will go to the polls”.
While citing the second possibility, he said the elections jeopardise “multiple processes”.
The “at today's session are two possibilities, or we will have Government Kurti 3 or the country going to the polls once again, risking many processes like the budget, the EU Growth Plan, the functioning of independent institutions etc”, he wrote in Facebook.
The desired option for us, of course, is the first” option, Murati said.
He said MPs would jeopardise the state's “stability if they did vote on a new government led by Kurti.
“But are opposition MPs willing to take the country to elections and risk the stability of the state only to oppose Albin Kurti? I hope today the reason and political will triumph in each MP to choose the state's interest first of all”, Murati wrote.. /Periscopi/
