Ironically, he writes that “Kosovo appears to need no package 882m euros from the European Commission”.
Remaining off the beneficiary list, according to Miftaraj guilty is the failure of state institutions.
“According to Frontonline-The European Commission has approved new payments to Albania, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro from the Western Balkans Growth Package, rewarding these countries with the second financial support transactions. Meanwhile, Kosovo was left off the beneficiary list, though it had been among the first countries to have met technical conditions and approved the reform agenda. The failure to operate state institutions and the lack of the Assembly to ratify the agreement with the European Union have enabled Kosovo to be unable to benefit from this package, though the funds are available and can be activated once the political stalemate is resolved”, Miftaraj wrote. /Periscope/
