According to Abdixhiku, it became known there is no parliamentary majority and that it must move towards the elections.
“We had a provision under Kosovo Constitutional, to discuss a point of the agenda. To set the next mandate for the Kosovo government. At this meeting, what the LDK always said in Kosovo, according to the results of February 9th, did not have a parliamentary majority. So it was declared today that in current circumstances there are no parliamentary majority, so the constitutional deadlines lead us to new elections”, he sentenced.
<x0...ronically, the government of unity and transition to overcome some urgent issues was mentioned, and I remind you that some time ago when this LDK was mentioned it was ridiculed. But it's impossible now. As soon as we call the elections”, Mr. Abdixhik.
Abdixhiku said that at this meeting “it was meant for unity and crisis resolution, and for the concept of passing solutions that we had presented. It became clear that there is no parliamentary majority and now belongs to the president by Wednesday to determine whether there is a majority or there is no majority. There were claims by the VV chairman that it might have to be tried again, but most were clear there is no majority”.
