Kurti in London: Ranovici has admitted responsibility for the attack on Banjska, seeking support for EU, NATO membership

In London, the Berlin Process summit is under way, attended by six leaders of Western Balkan states, as are British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, and other leaders of EU states. Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti gave a speech to those present, where he said Serbia is not [...]
The incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, delivered a speech to the attendees, saying Serbia is not punishing Milan Radojici, the organiser of the terrorist attack at Zvecan Banjska on September 2023.
He said our “progress remains under the shadow of threats and ongoing aggression by our northern neighbour”.
Could not be ignored. Milan Radovici has claimed responsibility, yet justice has not yet been put in place. Our hostile neighbour in the north should not be allowed to act with impunity, as it promotes new incidents and sends a dangerous signal that attacks on Kosovo's sovereignty and territorial integrity may remain unpunished”, Kurti said, among other things.
He specifically asked London to help with the membership of BP countries in the EU, but also in NATO.
Today, when we have war in Europe as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine, London can do much good by supporting the countries of the Western Balkans that want to join NATO, thus closing down this dangerous security vacuum. We have common goals and common values, and we have no alternative other than EU and NATO membership. These should be seen as strong points”, Kurti stressed.
