Kosovo votes for municipal leaders

Today, 2 million and 25 thousand and 105 voters will vote to elect the heads of 38 municipalities in the country and members of 38 municipal municipalities.

The locations will be opened by 7:00 a.m. and closed in 12 hours at 7:00 p.m.

The number of political subjects certified for participating in this election is 93, of which: 32 political parties, 2 coalitions, 32 civic initiatives and 27 independent candidates.

The total number of certified candidates representing these political subjects is 5,624 candidates, out of whom 205 candidates for mayoral elections and 5,419 candidates for the Communist Assembly.

Of the total number, only for mayoral elections have 205 candidates been certified, out of whom 185 men and 20 women. Meanwhile, 5,419 candidates, out of which 3,395 men and 2,024 women, have been certified in the elections for Municipal Places.
