The goods, which include books starters, have been found hidden in a backpack inside a passenger transport vehicle, despite the driver's statement that there was nothing to declare.
“During regular controls at the border crossing in Vmica, customs officials have stopped for control a passenger transport vehicle, where despite the driver's statement that it did not possess goods for statements, a backpack filled with pharmaceutical products, more precisely the beginnings for which the side did not own the receipt or relevant documentation has been discovered during detailed check.
The goods in question have been temporarily banned until the conclusion of further procedures, while counter-insulting procedure has been initiated against the side, in line with legislation in force”, the announcement said.
Kosovo customs remains committed to preventing and fighting smuggling, with the aim of protecting the local market and health of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
