Bekim Vari, 27, of Ferizaj, was reported missing from family members on January 29, 2025, while his body was found on 5 February in a mountainous area of the village of Manastirc, Ferizaj.
The victim's body was found in severe condition, with numerous signs of violence.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Ferizaj has filed charges against Fyza, charging him with the criminal offence of serious murder. According to the investigative file, the defendant allegedly committed the crime following an earlier conflict with the victim.
At today's session, prosecutor Shukri Jashar presented the case in detail, explaining the last moments of cruel murder.
Meanwhile, defense lawyer Kastriot [name] proposed to the court that his client withdraw the detention measure or be replaced by a softer measure as home arrest.
The phrase in his statement denied involvement in murder, saying, "No, I didn't kill”."
