The Constitutional Court in Gjakova has announced that it has appointed detentions of the Y.V., which allegedly committed violence against its mother, sister and brother.

According to the request, “dated 20,10,2025, about 17:30 minutes in the village of S. In their own home, the defendant acts violence and physical abuse with the intent of violating the dignity of the other person, here to the injured his mother, his sister and his brother, in a way that the critical day because of a disagreement, the defendant revolts and slaps his mother in the face and then beats his sister after the same had intervened to separate you, while his brother had come out of harming him, and after the same defendant had been removed from there and addressed with words that <x> comes to my brother <x>

With these actions the defendant allegedly committed criminal work, ”Dhuna in the family” sanctioned with Article 248 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code. Prudimentary procedure judge Driton Sadiku has estimated that legal conditions for appointing the detention measure for the defendant in question have been met, because with the possible finding of the defendant in freedom, there is a real possibility that the same would interfere with the course of criminal procedure by affecting the injured, or repeating criminal work. The defendant will be held in detention for a month, which will be counted from the time of his arrest on October 21st 2025 and will last until November 2025. The sides have the right to appeal to this decision at the Kosovo Court of Appeals. ”
