KFOR suggests that the meeting focused on the security situation in Kosovo, regional stability and KFOR's continued support for the dialogue process.
According to the report released on Facebook, KFOR quoted Ulutashi as stressing KFOR's commitment to his UN-appointed mission and continued co-operation with the European Union and other partners.
“Visita stressed the long and steadfast commitment of NATO and the EU to work together to consolidate a stable and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo, as well as for regional stability”, KFOR says.
Sorensen had met on August 8th with former KFOR Commander Enrico Bardoni, where the conversation at that meeting was focused mainly on developments on the security situation in Kosovo and on the continued support of KFOR for the EU-launched dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The latest meeting under the dialogue process took place on 11 September in Brussels, Belgium, with two chief negotiators from both states, Besnik Bissim and Petar Petkov.
In a post on the X platform on 12 September, Sorensen stressed that he welcomed the leaders of both teams for bilateral and trilateral meetings for implementation of the Ohrid Agreement and addressing the issue of missing persons. /Periscope/
