“At least 90 people have died, including 22 children, from Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Belt, which have been lasting since last night”, said Civil Protection spokesman in Gaza Mahmud Basal.
He added that about 200 people have been injured, media report Allyzeera.
The Israeli Army announced that one of its soldiers was killed yesterday in the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire that has been in force since October 10th between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement.
According to the announcement, the 37-year-old soldier was killed in clashes south of the Gaza Strip. The army accused Hamas of violating the truce.
