Implementation of new EU entry and exits system begins

In the ministry's announcement that over the next six months, this system will start gradually implementing all EU border points.

“Entry/Exit System EES, is a biometric system that records the entrances and exits of citizens of non-member countries of the EU, collecting data: like fingerprints and photographs. This system aims to speed up border controls and eliminate stamps in the passport. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Republic of Kosovo will continue to monitor and inform citizens of further developments concerning this process”, the report said. /Periscopi/
