This edition focused on two main themes: the “The Qection Consulting Al” and “Image, Film and Philosophy”.
The first day treated artificial intelligence as a new way of discovery, focusing on the ontological, ethical, and political aspects of technology. International panels from Austria, Croatia, Lebanon, Northern Macedonia, the Netherlands and Kosovo discussed the ethical dilemmas of AI, the saving power of technology, the resistance to algorithmic power and the importance of human studies in the artificial intelligence age.
The second day focused on image, film, and philosophy, addressing the relationship between the ontology of image, the aesthetic of horror, artificial intelligence in cinematography, and the philosophical interpretation of time. Discussions were accompanied by the screening of the film “Abschied von Gestern” by Alexander Kloge, and a discussion table on its cultural significance in Kosovo.
The III edition of the symposium turned Pristina into an international reflection centre on human technology relationship, linking philosophy with contemporary art, ethics, education and aesthetics.
