He has explained the operational plan in a direct link to Dukaagjini.
The operational <x0 plan is prepared long ago, because we work with certain phases of the plan, from the start of the election campaign to election day and then, as is the final day, as well as management of the situation after the declaration of results and to the outcome of the vote counting at the CEC's” results centre, Hoxha said.
He has added that throughout this process Kosovo Police have been in close co-operation with the Kosovo Prosecutor and with the Central Election Commission (KQZ), ensuring full co-ordination for a safe and secure election day.
He said that so far, no incidents have been reported. Hoxha, meanwhile, stresses that the total number of police engaged for today is up to 6500.
So far in the police today it's not reported any incidents. At all polling stations, we are deploying Kosovo Police in co-operation with the CEC and we expect everything to go well. The total number of police is about 6500 people engaged, and so is a large number of vehicles. We've got command rooms at the local central police level, all the superiors are on duty, and the operation has started since 3: 00 a.m. and will continue”.
On the other hand, Hoxha has said that given events in the past, police will have the biggest focus of Kosovo's north, but added she does not expect any major incidents.
Because of the past we have had, Kosovo's north will have the highest focus, while some municipalities that have a slightly closer race, depending on developments, we will have police officers focused on police stations and react to assessments or developments in the field. There isn't a hot spot I could say the police had recently identified, but depending on the developments that were made, depending on the intelligence department we'd have officials ready to react to the need. We don't expect any major incidents or anything like” -- the Police Director said. /Periscope.
