122 votes are ahead of Vetevendosje Movement candidate Faton Peci, to the one of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Arrian Tahiri, in their race for the first of South Mitrovica in the first round of the October 12th local elections.
Central Election Commission Chairman Kreshnik Radoniqi has indicated in today's meeting of this institution that Peci and Tahiri go to the run-off for the South Mitrovica municipality.
The “so in the second round goes Faton Peci with 15 thousand 830 votes, and Arian Tahiri with 15 thousand and 708 votes”, Radoniqi said.
In addition to the aforementioned candidates, for mayor of South Mitrovica, Gezim Qrylli, who received 3.71% of the vote, and Qazim Nimani with 0.77%.
The percentage Peci received 47.94% of the vote, while Arrian Tahiri received 47.57%
